Suppressions and consent

Your suppression list is a permanent record of people who must not be contacted — unsubscribes, hard bounces, and spam complaints. This is one of the most important safeguards in Ariyes.

How it protects you

Ariyes checks the suppression list before every send, so a suppressed contact is never messaged — even if they're sitting on a list you send to. This keeps you compliant and protects your sending reputation, because continuing to email people who bounced or complained is exactly what gets domains blocked.

Status and lifecycle

Each contact also carries a status (active, unsubscribed, bounced, complained) and a lifecycle stage, which keeps your sending compliant by default. You can review and add entries under Contacts → Suppressions.

A note on permanence

Suppression is treated as sacred: entries aren't quietly removed, because respecting opt-outs protects both your recipients and your ability to reach everyone else's inbox.
