A sequence is an automated, multi-step cadence. Each step waits a set delay, then sends — over email, WhatsApp, or SMS — and the whole thing pauses the moment a contact replies.
Sequences aren't a blunt "email everyone five times" tool. Per-mailbox limits, mailbox rotation, reply detection, and bounce handling are all built in, so a cadence stays effective without burning your sending domain. Steps can also branch, reacting to whether a message was opened, clicked, or replied to.
You build the sequence's steps, then enroll contacts (individually or in bulk from a list), and watch the enrollment funnel as people move through. The next articles cover building a sequence, adding conditions and branching, enrolling, and reading the analytics.
