Warmup and sending limits

To protect reputation, Ariyes doesn't let a brand-new domain blast at full volume on day one — that's a fast way to get flagged.

Two controls, two jobs

  • Warmup daily cap (automatic) — a new domain ramps up gradually. An automatic daily cap increases over the warmup period so your daily volume grows at a safe pace.
  • Sending rate (optional, you set it) — on top of warmup, you can cap how fast a domain sends via Mailgun or SendGrid. Choose a rate, or "No limit" to let only the warmup daily cap apply.

How they combine

Think of it as two dials: the rate limits speed (how fast messages go out), while the warmup daily cap limits daily volume (how many go out per day). Both apply together, so sends are queued and released within whichever limit is stricter at the moment. Leave warmup to do its job on new domains, and use the sending rate if you need to slow things down further.
