Add and verify a sending domain

You send from your own domains, which is what lets mailbox providers trust your mail. Adding one takes a few DNS records.

Before you start

You'll need owner or admin access in Ariyes and the ability to edit DNS at your domain registrar or DNS provider.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Domains and choose Add sending domain.
  2. Enter your domain and choose your email provider. Mailgun uses TXT records; SendGrid uses CNAME records.
  3. Ariyes shows you three DNS records — for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Add each one at your DNS provider exactly as shown.
  4. Click Verify.

If it doesn't verify right away

DNS changes can take up to about 10 minutes to propagate (sometimes longer). If verification fails immediately after adding the records, wait a few minutes and click Verify again. Double-check for typos or an extra trailing dot in the record values.

What "verified" unlocks

When all three records check out, the domain's status changes from pending to verified. Only verified domains can be selected as the "From" domain when you send a campaign or run a sequence — so verify before you build your first send.
